“We stayed here on our way from the Northern Europe towards Switzerland. The location is great, just a 2 minute drive from the highway. The reception was closed during our arrival but we received detailed instructions for the self check-in. Additionally, I had originally booked the wrong date for our stay but the staff was helpful and flexible to change our reservation. The room was very clean and quiet. The road between the rooms and main building is quite busy but we did not hear any noise during night. It was quite warm in the room due to the hot weather but you could open the window. Breakfast was great with also considering vegan diet which we appreciate very much. We travelled with our dogs and the staff accommodated our room on the ground floor which was also very helpful. There were a lot of green around to enable dog walks. Overall very good value and we would definitely come back!”

“This is an historical jewel, although quite young by European standards. I only stayed 16 hours, so take this review in stride. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are quaintly appointed with all the necessities I've come to expect in German guest houses. The breakfast was delightful and the staff very friendly. I speak German well enough, but the staff switched to English flawlessly when I struggled to find a word. There was a wedding that day, but you'd never know it from any noise. Still, It would be a privilege to celebrate in such a place. I've given a lot of 5 star reviews lately, but I blame it on people like me sharing their experiences in detail so I could make good choices. Places like this set the bar for which other accommodations will strive. I look forward to my next visit.”
